The Foundation

What truly sets Airlift apart is the experience that precedes it. Owner and founder Tyler McDougall’s journey as a drone pilot has been a masterclass in problem solving and technical challenges.

This expertise wasn’t gained overnight. Since as early as 2009, Tyler has been utilizing drone technology, starting from a time when simply getting a drone to fly was an accomplishment. This hands on experience led to a deep understanding of the technology and the ability to make it consistently reliable.

“The Early Days”

By 2014, as drone technology evolved and began to be incorporated into more shoots, Tyler was right there. He began gaining extensive experience on commercials, TV shows, and feature films, even traveling to different countries to shoot.

The one thing that has not changed since those early days is the drive to innovate. Tyler is always pushing the boundaries of what's possible, continuously seeking out new technology to get that critical shot when it matters most.

This history of dedication is the foundation of Airlift. It ensures there isn't much Tyler hasn't seen or done, allowing him to stay calm under pressure and excel in difficult locations.
